How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your Tupai account and associated data, send us an email:
Email: [email protected] Subject line: Account Deletion Request
Please include:
- The name on your Tupai account
- The email address or phone number registered to your account
- (Optional) Any feedback on why you’re leaving, it helps us improve
You don’t need to be logged in or have the app installed to make this request.
What Happens Next
- We’ll send you a confirmation email within 5 business days acknowledging your request.
- Your account and personal data deletion will be processed within 30 days of confirmation.
- You’ll receive a final email once the deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
Once your request is processed, we permanently delete:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- Your saved progress, submissions, and in-app activity
- Any content you’ve created or uploaded through the app
What we may keep, and why
We retain a limited set of data only where we have a legitimate reason to:
- Billing/transaction records — kept for 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Practice/Exam records — kept for 3 years where required by sponsoring stakeholders such as Foundation, if applicable.
- Security and fraud-prevention logs — kept briefly to protect against abuse.
Anything not listed above is deleted in full; nothing is merely deactivated or hidden.
Subscriptions
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel that subscription — billing continues until you cancel it separately through your App Store or Play Store account settings.
